“The best camera is the one you have with you.” Making a commitment to take a photo-a-day with a traditional camera can be challenging, but with a smart phone it is as easy as pie:

  • No extra luggage. You carry your phone with you nearly everywhere anyway.  Seriously, how much effort is it to take one measly shot a day?
  • Automatic uploading.  Most smart phone apps allow you to upload directly to Flickr, Facebook or Twitter with the click of a button. Honestly, for me this is the best perk!
  • iPhonography Apps | Let's Lasso the MooniPhoneography. Yeah, it is sort of a catch phrase, but it makes me smile. There are so many amazing apps out there. Check out this wonderful eBook (PDF) full of mini-tutorials.  Also, January 5th Creative Live has a free webinar on the subject that looks stellar!

Right now I admit I am a bit of an iPhone Instagram junkie. However, I’ve read wonderful reviews about a variety of other must-have apps. Below is a list of 7 Must-Have iPhoneography Apps:

  • FX Photo Studio
  • ScratchCam FX
  • Diptic
  • Hipstamatic
  • CameraBag
  • Camera+

Want to see the power of these apps? Check out this wonderful eBook (PDF) full of mini-tutorials.

If you already have any of these apps I’d love to hear your opinion. Lets chat in the comments.
