Keeping up with laundry is a pain. You won't believe what this mother of six did to totally rock her laundry space. She decided to create a laundry room that would help her streamline the process and created a super efficient laundry room. She shopped thrift stores, used creative thinking, and upcycled her tiny wash room into a lovely work space ... for only $400. Check out the DIY ideas and organizational hacks in this video.
Efficient Laundry Room Inspiration
If we had a room like this, I'd actually WANT to do laundry. These are the tips I am going to start implementing with my family straight away:
- Each child is required to bring their own laundry down and sort their items into a designated basket.
- Wash the child's items together and then each child is required to bring their own clothes to their room to put away.
- The children all have a designated hanger color. Pull hang-able items directly from the dryer and place on a hanging pole in the laundry room. The children grab their color and bring the items to their closet.
