{20 Healthy On-the-Go Snacks} *Perfect for running between after school activities #BuddyFruitsB2S

Taxi on duty! As modern parents, we find ourselves carting little ones around to 101 different things: school, lessons, weekly practices, events, and extracurricular classes. My two girls are on the swim team and play piano. Even if a child is only participating in a single after-school activity, parents often find themselves with a chaotic schedule.

A quick on-the-go snack between activities can help fuel your child's body and mind. {Tweet This}

. . . not to mention, save you from cranky children. Below are twenty of our favorite on-the-go snacks. Providing fresh fruit and veggies on-the-go can be challenging. Our family likes to pre-pack a few sets of snacks for the week on Sunday night. We love these stainless steel LunchBots containers because they are the perfect size and dishwasher safe. Well, that and the small condiment containers ROCK for ranch sides. Here are fifteen of our favorite items to pre-pack:{LunchBots ROCK} *Perfect size for little kids & dishwasher safe

  1. Baby Carrots + Ranch
  2. Grapes + Cheddar Cheese Square
  3. Magic Bananas (See how to add a hidden fruit message)
  4. Hawaiian Bun + Deli Meat

  6. Cucumber Slices + Ranch
  7. Mini-bagel + Cream Cheese
  8. Greek Yogurt + Frozen Fruit + (Granola on the side)
  9. Summer Sausage + Cheese Slices (Butter Crackers on the side)

Insider's Tip: With pinwheel roll-ups, the sky is the limit; there are so many combinations to try. Tiffany of Peanut Blossom explains, "Take the meat and/or cheese, lay it flat. Roll it up like a burrito. Slice it into chunks, hold in place with toothpicks." Read full post.

In a perfect world, our schedules, meal plans, and snack prep would all be accomplished with grace. Life has a tendency to get in the way. {Tweet This}

Below are our top five quick-fix snacks:

1. Apples + Creamy Swiss Cheese
2. Apples + Peanut Butter

Insider's Tip: Do your kids refuse to eat brown apples?
Try this rubber band trick for keeping cut apples fresh longer.

  • Slice the apple into thirds.
  • Slice the center piece into thirds again.
  • Wrap a rubber band around the pieces to hold the apple together.
