We are always missing one thing. I've bookmarked 101 awesome ideas on Pinterest, but when I pull up activities to do with the girls there is always that one thing missing. Our glue sticks have dried up, the pipe cleaners have all been used, the glitter got dumped on the cat's head; the list goes on.
Being a working parent and raising a family is chaotic. There is always a feeling of being one step behind. My life is a whirlwind of permission slips, piano lessons, packing lunches, going for summer bike rides, checking in with the office and trying to grocery shop. So when I read about the BabbaBox subscription I sighed... a deep, long, "they get it" sigh of relief.
Check out their website and then read why I am smitten below.

What I loved about our complimentary BabbaBox:
1. The box makes learning a gift, quite literally. Your child will be thrilled to get mail delivered to THEM. As your little one opens the tissue paper their eyes will get wide with excitement.
2. You get the sun, moon & stars. In other words, they give you everything, I mean *everything* you need to complete the dedicated projects is included within the lovely green box. Let me say it again, everything. Glue sticks, check. Pipe cleaners, check. Glitter, check.
3. You can rest assured when you open the box it's going to be awesome and educational. Their expert team includes: a member with a Ph.D. in early childhood education, a physical therapist and a pre-school teacher. Each collection of activities is also kid & parent tested.
4. It is a great way to compliment what your child is learning at daycare or in school. I openly admit that I believe traditional education can cause the light of curiosity in a child's eyes to dim.
BabbaBox offers a way for parents to make learning fun and interactive.
We had a wonderful time chatting about the solar system while creating a paper mache moon nightlight.
While the theme changes from month to month each box offers the opportunity to:
5. Each box comes with a book for your child's at home library. I honestly believe children can never have enough books. I love this quote from Albert Einstein:
If you want your children to be intelligent, read them fairy tales. If you want them to be more intelligent, read them more fairy tales.
The book included with our "sun, stars and moon" box was more fun than educational. It was a lovely way to relax after completing a project.
