DEDICATION

Today's post is dedicated to MaryAnne of Mama Smiles and her daughter Anna. Earlier this week, she wrote a beautiful post about her daughter and parenthood...

As an adult, being in the rain is generally considered annoying, and to be avoided wherever possible. Anna embraced the experience, and as she did, I got to relive my own childhood – the sensation of feeling the rain drops on your head, and the satisfaction of bare feet splashing in rain water. Read the full post.

Parenting Discoveries: Live in the Moment

We traditionally think of science as structured, but dancing in the rain is also a learning opportunity. While the experiments below are AWESOME, don't forget to look for simple everyday opportunities to keep your child inquisitive.

Remember...

Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is to not stop questioning.
― Albert Einstein, Relativity: The Special and the General Theory

Happy Experimenting!
