When I think of owls, I always think of the classic characters of Winnie-the-Pooh.
“And if anyone knows anything about anything," said Bear to himself, "it's Owl who knows something about something," he said, "or my name's not Winnie-the-Pooh," he said. "which it is," he added. "so there you are.”
― A.A. Milne, Winnie-the-Pooh

Happy fall friends,
PS: A few years ago our family did owl banding as part of a volunteer field trip coordinated by the Natural Resource Foundation of Wisconsin. The experience was amazing. If your child can be gentle and has the patience for the activity, I highly recommend searching for a parallel opportunity in your local community!
