I tried the crazy slide and my butt still hurts. It wasn't a graceful landing.
The monkey bars threatened to tear my shoulders apart.
Now, I'm sitting on a bench reading a book while my girls romp around.
There are eight parents and nine children (including mine) at the playground. Most of the parents are saying don't a lot. I get it. Their kids are young.
Not one of the parents tried the slide or the monkey bars.
I don't like playgrounds, but my kids do. I bring a book and read and twiddle away on my phone.
My girls have a great time, but before we leave I'm trying that slide one more time. I'm going to show that thing who's in charge.
