Just a few extra items from the grocery store can make someone's day. Creating a fall care package is a simple way to say "love you" to a friend. In my autumn gift box I included: fresh apple cider, a decorative pumpkin, and a hardy plant. Easy peasy.
Have you ever had fresh orange slices in your hot cider? It is delicious. I threw in a coffee mug with an orange into my gift box for good measure.
My friend is a minimalist, so if felt wrong buying a gift bag or wrapping. Instead, I just threw everything into a cardboard box and added a bit of raffia to seal the deal. Nothing fancy, but enough effort to show I care.
My favorite way to a give gifts is to leave it at the person's doorstep. Sometimes I leave a note, sometimes I just smile and walk away.
Happy fall,
