My daughter has been blessed with beautiful curly thick hair. It is truly gorgeous, but also has a life of it's own.
Oh my little indigo child, we've had lots of morning disagreements about brushing hair. However, a while back we found a new salon with a gentleman who truly understands how to cut curly hair. When he saw how quickly Rose's hair could snarl, he suggested we buy The Wet Brush ... which of course they conveniently sold at the salon.
I admit, I was completely skeptical.
However, with a little push he convinced me to try it. I could not believe the difference. The brush is AMAZING.
It allows you to work on snarls without getting caught on them. In other words, you can brush hair without constantly pulling on your child's scalp.
A good friend of mine was having issues with her little ladies (4 & 7) in the mornings, too. I bought her girls their own brushes in their favorite colors the last time I visited. She openly admitted she thought I was being a bit dramatic about how great these work, but was amazed at what a difference it made with her two girls (who have beautiful long hair).
