My daughter came home from school feeling a bit under the weather last week. She asked for a warm drink to soothe the congestion. We had apple juice, but not the cider she requested. We decided to play with some online recommendations and came up with the most delicious single-serving apple cider recipe. Check it out below!
I’ve also found this cider recipe to be a lovely way to start a cold day.
- 1 mug of apple juice
- 1 T of brown sugar
- 1 t of real maple syrup
- Dash of cinnamon
- Whip cream (optional)
- Heat your mug of apple juice for 1-2 minutes in the microwave.
- Add brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon and then stir until dissolved. Amounts used can vary depending on how sweet you prefer your cider to be.
- Top with whip cream and a dash of cinnamon.
The GIRLS RULE mug is optional, but recommended. [affiliate link]
