I get by with a little help from my friends…

Y’all know I am a Pinterest junkie. This season the DIY Handmade Gift Board has been my stomping grounds. I’ve been stock piling ideas and was absolutely thrilled when I came across this idea earlier this month:

I love that this is an interactive gift that the girls can edit every time they visit their Nana’s house. It is absolutely brilliant.

The one major downfall of Pinterest is sometimes people accidentally forget to link to the post page, so you end up on the homepage of a blog. I searched and searched for this project with no luck. Finally I saw reference to it in the comment section. It was a wild goose chase leading me to another blog & then an Etsy store. Unfortunately, the artist no longer offers this print. What a bummer! However, this classic project can be found all over the web in a variety of forms and with a variety of different statements. It was so inspiring.

Then I thought, “I can do this myself.” As I was order the print today I realized maybe not all of you have Photoshop or the ability to create your own version of this lovely project. I just had to share this file with you, my blog friends.

Click here to download the jpg file to either print on your computer or as a photograph (it is formatted to be 8×10).

Wishing you luck in finishing all your “last minute” DIY gift projects! This is an easy one if you are pressed.

Cheers,

What a fun idea (found you via Pinterest). I plan to make one of these, cover it with contact paper, put magnet on the back, and stick it to the fridge. My goal is to write something new on it every night for my husband, since I go to bed later than he does, trying to get stuff done, and he always gets up before me. Thanks for the fun idea! :)
