I have a secret to admit. I didn’t send out any Christmas cards last year, I had every intention of sending them. I even had an address list on my computer, but once November hit I got caught up with Thanksgiving, Quinn’s birthday, holiday shopping for the kids, school concerts… life.
I love holiday cards. I realize sending and receiving them might not be the green thing, but there is something wonderful about good-old-fashion snail mail. I love seeing people’s handwriting, which stamp they chose, the family photos and the personal notes…
Last year the experience was tainted by the fact that I hadn’t sent anything out. Every card received elicited a feeling of guilt. I swore in 2012 that the girls and I would send out holiday cards. I’ve already been looking around at my favorite shop, Minted.
Stop by and check out their stuff.
The designs are stellar and the options available are great: scalloped edges, different paper weights, a recycled option, matching envelopes, postcards and accordion style… basically, whatever your creative heart desires.
Here are my two favorite designs so far:
1. Candy Cane Kisses by Robin Ott Design
2. Simple Merry Holiday Postcard by Chica Design
