Just a few extra items from the grocery store can make someone’s day. Creating a fall care package is a simple way to say “love you” to a friend. In my autumn gift box I included: fresh apple cider, a decorative pumpkin, and a hardy plant. Easy peasy.
Have you ever had fresh orange slices in your hot cider? It is delicious. I threw in a coffee mug with an orange into my gift box for good measure.
My friend is a minimalist, so if felt wrong buying a gift bag or wrapping. Instead, I just threw everything into a cardboard box and added a bit of raffia to seal the deal. Nothing fancy, but enough effort to show I care.
My favorite way to a give gifts is to leave it at the person’s doorstep. Sometimes I leave a note, sometimes I just smile and walk away.
PS: Thank you to I Heart Faces. The fall photos mingled in above were taken at one of their amazing photography conferences. Be sure to check out their site for tutorials and photography tips. To Stacy and
