My Instagram feed lacks color lately, so I was inspired by these three (delicious), BRIGHT and simple smoothie recipes.
3 Simple Smoothie Recipes
These recipes from Abe’s Market are basically spring sunshine in a glass. What I love about the recipes is that they can be a mix of fresh, frozen, or puree. The instructions for all three recipes below are easy as 1-2-3: Add ingredients to a blender, blend to your desired consistency, and enjoy.
SKINNY GREEN TROPICAL SMOOTHIE RECIPE
- ¾ cup coconut milk
- ½ cup vanilla Greek yogurt
- ¾ cup frozen pineapple
- ½ frozen banana
- 1 cup spinach puree
BANANA BERRY SMOOTHIE RECIPE
- 1-2 pouch(es) butternut squash puree
- 1 frozen bananas
- ½ cup raspberries
- ¾ cup apple juice
SWEET POTATO PIE SMOOTHIE RECIPE
- ¾ cup almond milk
- 2 frozen bananas
- ½ cup sweet potato puree
- 1 ½ tsp fresh, grated ginger
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp molasses
- 1 tsp vanilla
I’ve also been meaning to try this Mango Green Smoothie recipe with the kids, too. Nom. Nom. Nom.
