Oreo Construction Birthday Cake

Easy Construction Birthday Cake
Reve it up!
I may have two girls but I know an awesome birthday cake when I see one. This week we share share an easy construction cake with you from Helping Little Hands.

Birthdays have changed a lot since we were kids. Pinterest often brings on this overwhelming pressure to make it a over-the-top grand celebration: bigger and better parties themes, cooler gift bags for guests, and fancier cakes.

What I love about this cake is the simplicity of it all. No need to be able to magically work frosting or be a chef. Just expect to have fun and get messy! Mmmmm, Oreos.

Get the link to the full “construction cake post” showcased to the right and our three favorite projects from last week at the end of the group share below.

Be sure to check out all the wonderful ideas from this week as you scroll down.

Happy Friday!

Notes to Fellow Bloggers:

  • We are looking to team up with other fun kid’s blogs to create something we fondly call the Kid’s Co-op. A weekly group of blogging parents who do a joint link-up with their readers to showcase some of the hippest kids projects out on the web. Blogs of all sizes are welcome. If you are interested, request to join our private Facebook group by clicking here.
  • Stop by every Friday and add your link. Your link will show up on each of the blogs in the community, so it’s like linking up to multiple parties at once! We currently have 20+ bloggers participating.
  • Each week we will try to choose favorite posts to feature. By linking up, you are giving us permission to use an image and link back to you (if featured). You will also get a ‘Featured on’ button to proudly display on your blog.
  • Visit other posts that catch your eye. Keep these other bloggers inspired by commenting on posts that you find interesting or creative.
  • The Kid’s Co-op Members will be reviewing links and sharing their favorites on our group Pinterest board which has 240,000+ followers.
