Sometimes mistakes are beautiful. This weekend I started to practice playing with my new-to-me DSLR camera.
Wow,  manual photography is challenging. I bow to the men and women who have taken up this complex art.

I took a couple of flower photos over the weekend that were likely, from a technical standpoint, flat-out wrong. Still, I adore these soft shots of our Nana’s flower. Perhaps it is because I am reminded of this quote from Ralph Waldo Emerson:

Earth laughs in flowers.

Here’s to making mistakes and enjoying them!
