My Grandma Gertrude was an amazing lady. As I looked for a photo to celebrate this first FULL day of summer I came across a wonderful collection of “everyday” memories. A tandem bike? How romantic.

You can enjoy the day in simple ways too: grab a book and a patio chair, wear a summer dress, take your baby for a walk or just enjoy the warm air from the comfort of your front porch.

    I love this post! This totally reminds me of my childhood. I can hear the AM Radio country oldies blaring now! It reminds me why we try to keep our summers simple. (Casual, hanging out at the park and in the yard…) There is nothing like relaxing in a lawn chair while the kiddos splash in the plastic pool!
