Spring Desktop Organizer

Are you sick of folders, files and shortcuts laying around all over your desktop?

Last year, many of us joined together for the Get Rid of 100 Things Challenge. One of the participants caught me off guard when she informed me she did a digital version of the challenge. Absolutely brilliant. We took the concept to a new level, take a moment to virtually de-clutter with our *free* Seasonal Desktop Organizer.

We are drop to the floor, smiling ear-to-ear honored to be working with artist Carol Kroll for our spring edition. I was giddy when she gave us the  okay for a watercolor for this season’s desktop organizer. Having dabbled in watercolors myself I am astounded by the way she creatively controls the paint, being a backyard birder I love her collection. You can find high quality prints of this lovely hummingbird painting, as well as other bird, butterfly, and flower watercolors over on RedBubble. She also has some great abstract narrative acrylic work. Trust me, you don’t want to miss it.

Want to know more? Check out her Twitter profile, “Maker of art, maker of music, maker of animation, maker of trouble, keeper of fish, builder of time machine, connoisseur of all things frozen.”  When you are done looking around at her prints be sure to take a moment to pop over to her site or like her on Facebook.

We’d also like to thank Sylvia from C’est la Vie Digital Delights. This is the second time she has been gracious enough to share her Etsy collections with us. We were able to play with her adorable digital papers, accents and materials to create the organizational boxes for the Spring Desktop Organizer. Click here for the featured Anais Paper Pack or check out some of the new spring & summer papers available in her Etsy store! How cute is this Breeze pack?

If you are like most people you have files, folders and shortcuts cluttering up your desktop. Our Desktop Organizers provide you designated areas to save your items to create a sense of organization on your computer. Take a peak at my desktop below. You can see how I’ve organized my icons into the appropriate locations. {Voilà!}

How do I know which screen resolution I need?
This can be confusing if you are not tech savvy. No worries. Follow the directions below if you are on a windows computer.

  • Click on the “Start” button on the bottom left hand corner of your computer.
  • Select “Control Panel” from the pop up window.
  • Select “Display” from the icons listed.
  • Screen resolution is listed under the “Settings” tab.

Unfortunately there are a zillion and one screen resolutions. We picked the top five screen resolutions statistically used today. If you cannot find your exact resolution in the download section above try to grab something fairly similar and give it a try!

How do I install my Desktop Organizer?
It is easy as pie. {Knock on wood}
