Happy First Day of Spring!

Happy first day of spring!!! Have you been enjoying record high temps this winter? This weekend we celebrated our first outdoor dinner. Last year, we had FEET of snow in April, so this has been quite a shocking week. Nonetheless, I’ll take the forecast with a smile knowing we might (just might) still see snow in our future. I have been having a blast on Instagram documenting our adventures as part of Develop’s Project 366.
I’d love to see more of your spring photos. I have been disappointed with the technical aspects of the original group Pinterest board.* I am excited to announce that we are partnering up with Stacy of kid*stuff*world and her “Life in an Instant” group. The weekly group share below will allow us another creative way to get comments and photo feedback.
I would love if you would join us in sharing your pictures. Here’s a bunch of different ways you can participate:
Create a personal Pinterest board titled “The Gift of an Ordinary Day” or “Life Passes in an Instagram” or “Life in an Instant” (whatever toots your trolley) for your photos and share a direct URL below. Example: http://pinterest.com/zina/the-gift-of-an-ordinary-day-group-project/- Create a Flickr set or collection for your photography project and share the URL below. Be sure to set your privacy settings to public.
- You can also feel free to just share your single favorite photo for the week. It is up to you.
- Create a blog post about your photo set and link it up.
- Use the follow me on Twitter so I can easily find you under “suggested friends” on Instagram.
I hope you will take a moment to share your photos with the group!

- Copy your FULL link to either your Pinterest board, Flick collection, blog post, etc. Paste it into the URL slot.
- Write the name of your PROJECT vs. your personal name. Examples may include: Spring fun, Project 365, Harrington Adventures, etc.
- Share your email address, remember this is not visible.
- Click “Next Step” and pick which image you’d like to showcase as a thumbnail.
*PLEASE NOTE: Due to technical issues we have had issues adding people in to the “Gift of an Ordinary Day” Pinterest board . I do hope you will join us in sharing your photos in this link-up each week if you didn’t make it to the board!
