Be My {Yoda}
I grew up with three brothers in a world that revolved around Star Wars. I consider myself a student at heart, a “Luke” one might say. Each week I find myself learning new things through wonderful articles, shared ideas, unique activities, and people. Below are a few examples of Yoda’s I came across last week. I hope you find everything (and everyone) below as insightful and inspiring as I have…
Let’s chat in the comments about these wonderful finds.

PS: Anyone remember this tune? Hee hee.

Circles of Friendship by Ardith Goodwin, 4″ by 4″ collage on paper
She writes,”This morning I am reminded how lucky I am to have such wonderful friends. From all walks of life my friends come, and from all belief systems. It is part of what I love about the diversity of life. This collage reminds me of just that, how diverse we all are, but how alike as well. Circles make up this entire structure, but as we each are unique, no circle is the same. I think, when our circles collide, it creates a beautiful canvas, especially among friends. Today I am blessed, grateful, and thankful for friends.”
Let’s Lasso the Moon Note: Ardith is a retired teacher who is bursting at the seams with creativity. Pop on over to her website and follow her on Facebook, Google Circles, Flickr and Pinterest. I guarantee you will learn something and be inspired. This Circles of Friendsship piece is part of her a collage a day collection which is showcased via Facebook. Ardith is also a participant of our photo a day Project 2012 on Flickr.

Online Mindfulness Bell {Thich Nhat Hanh}
Let’s Lasso the Moon Note: We have started using this mindfulness bell on the “random” setting at the house. At first I thought I would just use it during the work day as a nice reminder to get up from my desk and stretch. I forgot to turn it off and the bell continued to chime throughout the day. Our house is open concept; the office, kitchen, and living room are all together. Rose asked, “What is that?” And I explained it was a reminder to pause and take a deep breath. It is so cool. The bell goes off, everyone in the house stops, Rose and I make eye contact, smile and take a deep breath. It is wonderful. I highly recommend it!
